Before they became engineers working across leading AI and electronics companies, the founders of A-Star were once IGCSE students themselves. They remember what it felt like to revise under pressure, practise past papers, wait for feedback, and wonder whether they were truly ready for the exam.
That experience stayed with them.
Years later, they saw an opportunity to use their technical experience to solve a problem they understood personally: helping IGCSE students practise in a more structured, reliable, and confidence-building way.
